I saw that everyone was talking about Home Front on another topic. Just throwing it out there but we might also look at the Crysis games. There are actually 3 out and depending on system requirements we might be able to get those going. They also have support for the games and more available maps, weapons & options similar to JO. While it doesn’t offer you the ability to build maps it does give my physics based play. Fubar and I played Crysis when it came out and we both enjoyed it a lot.
I know a lot of you are going to say your graphic cards can’t handle it. NVIDIA just released a new card that is supposed to bridge the gap and allow more games to be played. It is also priced right for most of us. It’s not some $500 card. I am not sure if anyone has looked lately but graphic cards are coming way down now. Might be the time to start checking out the cards and games.
The card is the GeForce GTX 550 Ti. It runs about $100 – $150. It is DX11 ready and SLI 2.0 (also backwards compatible to 1.0), has 1GB of ram.
New Egg has it for $130 after rebate. There are other manufactures of the same card for better price points. Just showing an example.
Here is an article on the 550 card and some info on cards in general and their new price points.

Just a heads up to everyone. I have a coupon from EA for 30% off.
Both Crysis & Crysis:Warhead (Warhead inculudes the game multi player Crysis:Wars) are on sale this weekend.
I picked up an extra copy of Crysis:Warhead and used the coupon. It was $8.38 total after discount. Its a digital download so you don’t have to wait for the disk, just have to download which took me about an hour with Time Warner.
I think Crisis is $17.97 ($12.58 after discount).
Here is the code if anyone wants to get it. FYI the sale ends tonight.
DISCOUNT CODE: 76x2nonqje
